AdamEve has officially announced plans to cease sales of any adult novelties containing phthalates.
Phthalates, or phthalate esters, are a group of chemical compounds that are mainly used as plasticizers (substances added to plastics to increase their flexibility). The phthalates exact long-term effects in humans are unknown.
This controversial chemical compound has been used since the 1920s in beauty products, vinyl flooring, and some sex toys.
A lot’s of adult novelty manufacturers has responded to the issue by publishing a list of all its phthalate-free products.
It’s seems that ‘Phthalates’ has become the newest dirty word in the industry.

According to rumors the “Desperate Housewives” famous actress Eva Longoria has piles of sex toys stashed in her garage, and on occasion, gives them to friends as gifts.

A Federal Appeals Court has turned down an appeal to keep sex toys legal in Alabama. But the devices won’t disappear from store shelves immediately.
In 1998, the Alabama Legislature enacted a law that bans the sale of sex toys, but not their possession.
The Federal Appeals Court’s decision cites public morality as sufficient grounds to stop the sale of sex toys, but the fight continues, and the toys, still on the shelves tonight.
You can sell porn, but you can’t sell a sex toy?! What a dumb state…
